Form
Form is a contemporary pilates studio built around movement, balance, and control.
As a new brand, the studio needed an identity that felt calm and refined, while still carrying a quiet strength. The aim was to create a visual language that reflected the precision of pilates, while positioning Form confidently within a premium, design-led space.
Scope: Brand identity & logo design
Focus: Premium positioning, typography, tonal palette
Deliverables: Logo suite, colour palette, typography direction, brand guidelines
The Challenge
Form needed a brand that felt both soft and structured.
Pilates as a discipline sits between strength and stillness, and the identity needed to reflect that balance without leaning too far in either direction. Many studios fall into overly clinical or overly lifestyle-led visuals, and the challenge here was to create something more refined and grounded.
The identity also needed to feel premium without relying on obvious luxury cues, allowing the space and experience to speak for themselves.
The Approach
The brand was built around contrast and restraint.
The logo combines elegant, high-contrast typography with subtle detailing, creating a sense of movement within a structured form. A minimal icon was introduced to echo the human body in motion, adding a layer of personality without overwhelming the identity.
The colour palette plays a key role in shaping the brand’s tone. Warm neutrals move from light, almost chalk-like backgrounds through to deeper clay and brown tones, creating depth while maintaining a calm, cohesive feel. This allows the brand to feel soft and inviting, while still grounded and confident.
Typography was kept clean and intentional, using spacing and proportion to create a sense of control and balance across all touchpoints.
The Outcome
The result is a refined and recognisable brand identity that positions Form as a premium pilates studio from the outset.
The visual system gives the business a strong foundation to grow from, with enough flexibility to work across digital platforms, printed materials, and physical space. It feels calm, controlled, and confident, reflecting both the practice itself and the experience the studio offers.
